Details

This tool calculates the “spike time distance”, D[q] between two spike trains chosen as input. The cost to insert or delete a spike is 1, the cost to shift a spike by an amount of time t, is qt. If q is small, the distance is just the difference in the number of spikes between the two spike trains. The value of q corresponds to the temporal precision 1/q of the coincidence detector.
